- Team is incredible, everyone is genuine and wants to be here - Getting to work with some of the smartest people I've met and learning from them every day - Work is challenging in all the right ways, never a dull moment - Small and intimate so opinions get shared and heard - Vision matches product, great value in the product - The company values employees for more than the skills/expertise they bring to the table - Great benefits
Cons
Not really a con, but since I didn't have any data background, the learning curve (to get to know the product) is steep. However, I never felt uncomfortable asking a million questions or receiving support from other team members, which makes the learning period a positive experience
- Very high talent density. Just about everyone is at a senior level or higher and "mentorship" is mostly about sharing tricks-of-the-trade rather than needing to explain the basics.
- Extremely positive and encouraging environment. The company encourages celebrating wins and having peers give props to people who went above and beyond.
- Engineering time is very protected. Not a lot of red tape or meetings that you have to attend.
Cons
Comp is great, but benefits could be better. Otherwise, it's great.
