Pros

Core staff and passionate about care and compassion to the public, wanting to safe life, improving living and impact people’s lives.

Cons

Executive team are empire builders, make their own rules and segregate all functions within the organisation. No joined up working, no focused strategic vision with clear communication down. Very poor leadership, not demonstrating their own organisational values, insidious culture bred from the top down.

Pros

Hard working, loyal, clinically sound staff who will go out of their way to provide an excellent service to the patient

Cons

Lack of staff, lack of vehicles, inconsistent and poor call handling/dispatching protocols. 'Jobs for the boys' - managers who are 'yes men' get promoted to power allowing management to empire build not for the greater good. Lack of moral due to lack if leadership (managers don't empower and support staff), lack of communication, everything by email - no online database of information, little face-to-face or group discussions/learning. Bullyboy tacktics from management -lack of leadership training.

Pros

Wasting money on different rubbish projects.

Cons

The workload is completely unmanageable. When team members go on maternity leave or long-term sick leave, there is no budget to bring in cover — their responsibilities are simply redistributed to the rest of the team. This leads to constant stress, burnout, and a growing sense of resentment. Communication from management is poor, often aggressive, and unsupportive. Frontline staff are understandably frustrated, but this often results in team members being shouted at or blamed for things outside their control. Despite the growing workload, we are expected to work unpaid overtime just to keep things afloat. There is little recognition, no additional compensation, and no real support from leadership. This has created a toxic and demoralising environment where staff feel undervalued and exhausted. Until there is real investment in staffing and a change in culture from the top, I would not recommend working here.
