Flippant management with no scope of growth

Pros

Nothing much that one can remember.

Before taking up any job, please remind yourself that a job can take away a lot more from you 'intangible', than it can compensate by way of salary. The management team has a vague, ever-evolving idea of what the company is about but likes to jazz it up using their IIM-Ajargons. One attribute they look for in their employees is ' ownership', but guys don't fall prey for this. In it's guise, you will be made to do all the grunt work and in return you will get more grunt work to be done. Job roles change everyday, with no clear cut KRAs, accountability or process. Their is a proxy HR, the real HR are the founders themselves. The average tenure of employees is 1.5 years, credits to presumably their hire-and-fire policy. Start-ups may seem quite cool, but trust me, there is a lot of harshness in their. All in all, working in a company with no systems and direction was a mentally-draining phase for me and I'm very sure for most of the employees of the company.

Pros

- Work timings no one disturbs you outside work hours - Salary on time

Cons

Negative environment - Team is aggressive to such an extent that they have created a negative work enviornment with abusing a part of the culture. No respect - Heads are there to just give you monologue. Employees are not valued at all instead they are belittled. Unrealistic expectations - They will micro manage you to such an extent that you will start having anxiety issues. Reviews - These are a TRAUMA you will go through every week and sometimes daily. Contradicting statements - They contradict their own statements you will realise when you join them. Career destroying company - Once you leave them they will try to have your career destroyed by giving you unnecessary threats. To be honest there are no learning opportunities with them.
