toxic work environment

Pros

Good co-workers. To explore and disrupt the technology in industry.

Cons

1.Environment which was earlier friendly is now slowly becoming a proper toxic corporate one. It probably is happening because of not having a proper HR and passing the power of shaping the company culture to some "chaotic manager". 2.The atmosphere feels like school. You are assigned a chair with your name, roll number written on it. Don't know what is coming next. Micromanagement at its highest peak. Not at all a flexible environment, all because of one person. 3.Lot of excellent employees have left the company. Others are already discussing about leaving the company. Don't know where the company is headed to. 4. Toxic work environment because of various reasons.

Pros

1. after office hours one can spend good time in cafeteria with their loved ones 2. free snacks available 3. empty meeting rooms for additional activities after office hours

Cons

1.there are few leads who think it is a government job because of their buttering skills due to certain long term senior leads most of the juniors are not able to grow inside company and end up looking for better opportunity. 2. company funds in sending most unvaluable assets of company to onsite. they end up coming back with no knowledge of the product 3. too much work pressure in the newly acquired product. the project leads has no clue of what they want to build. we will be threatened if we ask doubts about the requirements 4. leads has no moto to upskill because of their job security 5. the existing product team has no idea about what they want to build 6. junior engineers are the most hardworking but end up without any recognition and rewards

Pros

- Engagedly is a great place to learn and grow. - Lots of opportunities where you can excel if you have the capability to do. Taking ownership is encouraged. - Learning and up-skilling is an integral part of the culture. - Ideas are always welcome. - Hard work, dedication, and talent is always recognized. - The work culture ensures you envision an end to end solutions.

Cons

There is no shortcut here, you need to have patience and prove your worth by learning the product, domain and keep upgrading yourself to stand out from the crowd. If you are looking for easy job, this is not for you. The rate of change won't suit everyone. The organization is rapidly expanding, so change should be expected (and embraced)
