Pros

*Cause of the company is noble, even if it's just a ploy for the two owners to get themselves and their friends rich *Pay is decent for the area, which is probably why they're trying to get rid of a bunch of people and move most of the company to Tennessee *Non-managerial employees are fantastic and a real pleasure to work with

Cons

*The owners are some of the worst managers I've ever worked for. The success of the company is due to them stumbling across a good idea and they have been coasting on it ever since. Both are incredibly out of touch, one having his head in the clouds and the other in the dirt. Both moved to TN and left their incompetent middle management team in charge, who have completely tanked the morale of the building. *Speaking of middle management, they are completely unqualified for their positions and only got hired (and still have jobs) because they're all friends. They're super cliquey and eat lunch with each other every day in the courtyard like it's high school (they even bought an umbrella to keep their favorite spot shady!). *The culture has become very toxic. This was a great place to work at 2+ years ago but things started to change when they announced that they were opening another location in TN. They first tried to get employees to transfer over (only five were desperate enough to take the offer) but now are using more cutthroat tactics. Employees are being pushed out left and right so they can hire someone in TN to do the same work for 2/3 the pay. Many of us don't believe we'll have a job in 6 months.

Pros

Decent benefits, lunches, and most of the people working genuinely care about the mission and each other.

Cons

It seems pay is below average for almost role when talking to coworkers, raises are non-existent, job scope is constantly increasing, and a few members of the team seem to be working 50 hours or more a week.
