Pros

I gained some experience sourcing talent, meeting great people (coworkers), and conversing with employers and candidates.

Cons

Training lasted 30 days, with agents placed on the phones within two days of onboarding. Call performance was not monitored, and no formal training was provided to ensure mastery of scripts, compliance standards, or role expectations. All employees were paid a uniform rate of less than $11.60 per hour until the Department of Labor issued a mandate requiring an increase in base pay. Many individuals initially believed they would be recruiting solely on behalf of GPAC, but later discovered they were expected to source both companies seeking candidates and candidates seeking opportunities. The company terminated multiple employees—primarily due to not meeting dialing and posting metrics—yet in many cases, these separations were inaccurately classified as voluntary resignations. Additionally, there were instances in which more qualified employees were released while less-qualified individuals with personal connections to leadership were retained.

Pros

All training and equipment provided Full internal support from all departments Uncapped earning potential Remote work Encouraging culture (not stuffy, cooperate feel) fun, high energy, supportive

Cons

It's tough. It takes a lot of internal drive and commitment. This isn't something for the weak, or those who throw in the towel with things get hard. A lot of cold outreach is required to build your desk and network - that alone isn't for everyone, especially those looking for an "easy" button.
