Pros

There are some really great people there. And they're pretty much all looking for another job.

Cons

If you don't get fired for no reason, you'll spend a lot of time looking for another job. It all flows from the CEO down. He is not really a "people" person. He seems to have no real understanding that there are other humans on the planet. He can be quite charming and is no doubt very smart, but overall he never really registers that the employees are human. They're just objects that never make him happy. Once during a monthly forced company meeting, he was lighting into everyone in the room and said "I don't really care if you like it or not..." Which sums it all up. People are fired every week. You'll get the 'So and So has moved on to other opportunities" email every few days and nobody even notices. The CEO is incapable of realizing people can think. One can present him with a much better way of doing something and he'd tell you how stupid you are, then two weeks later he'll present it as his idea. Its hard to know if he is doing on purpose or once the is planted, he forgets where it came from. Whatever it is, it's pretty irritating. If you need the money take the job there but know it's most likely a temp position. You'll realize everything said here is true or you'll get showed the door. And good luck collecting unemployment. They have a trick to make sure that once you get fired you'll never collect.

Pros

I've been very fortunate in my career to work with outstanding companies, large and small. However, this by far has been the best career move and experience thus far. This is a company that not only strives to be the best, but has created a company culture that is second to none. It starts at the top with the CEO, who is one of the most respected and genuine people I've has the pleasure to not only work for but also get to know personally. Bob, is not only a boss he is a very valuable mentor as well. The entire leadership team is extremely professional and very well educated on what it takes to create an atmosphere where employees can create "generational wealth" for themselves and have fun doing it at the same time. This is extremely rare in today's world. I have yet to meet an employee that is not excited, passionate, and truly dedicated to their work. What stands out most is the unselfishness of all the employees that I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. There is an old saying that teamwork makes the dreamwork, and that is most certainly the case here.

Cons

I do have a con..and that would be that working remotely, I tend to miss the electricity that is vibrating in the building whenever I step back into headquarters. If that is a con then I should only be so lucky as I look forward to every trip I make to Austin!
