Pros

There's always something going on at delaware, and you're able to reinvent yourself & your career in whatever shape you find interesting. There's a close link with the leadership & it's easy to talk to a partner about an idea or issue you have. There are strong values & a strong culture - although delaware has struggled with an identity crisis the past year due to rapid change and quick growth, I'm sure things will get settled again. The leadership has good intensions and cares for its people. A very broad salary package that includes extralegal benefits (Alan, nice car list, flex income plan, ...). delaware has trust at its core, meaning there's a lot of flexibility if you show commitment. What I maybe like most: delaware doesn't pretend to be perfect - but at least it tries. There are things that could be done better, but after all it's a good employer with an eye on a sustainable future, being thoughtful about investments and listening to what people have to say.

Cons

The identity crisis I talked about: with AI, a tough year for consulting companies and rapid growth in the number of people, leadership has struggled to stay consistent and strategic. I'm sure this will all settle, as change often comes with chaos. Because of the many opportunities and driven colleagues, it can create stress because you can be & often want to be involved in many different projects. There's attention for work-life balance, but if you're not careful, enthusiasm can quickly create a high workload.

Pros

None! I only lasted a week.

Cons

Dishonest hiring practices. Recruiters will like through their teeth and then deny it later. They expect grunt slave robots not humans. Working on a contract (C2C) there was one of the worst professional experiences of my lifetime and lasted only five days due to the lies surrounding what the role was all about just to get a body in the door. Then abuse and discard that person? No thank you. This is a sweatshop worse than Accenture
