Pros
Pantry is well-stocked. Staff are friendly and approachable.
Cons
Many, many lay-offs because of poor business decisions (venturing into education technology post-covid).
They worship money here. You teach alot then you reach god-like status and are rewarded a big paycheck also. But there's no progression. Only more students and more money. If you want to exit the tuition industry, then good luck to you and god bless you. My advise is dont get trapped here. The guy hiring teachers is a typical salesman - make many promises and always telling teachers how much they can earn even though the classes start with little students (not worth, dont fall for it).
Also even tho we tutors are on comms, we have to do so many holiday programs around the year FOR FREE. Because apparently this generates leads that will benefit us.
They do not value experience here. Whether you have 10 -15 years exp or are a fresh grad, you have the same compensation (and this is based on number of classes).
CEO is never around. He's like completely checked-out. Whole day eating nice food and play golf. Suspicion on the ground is will the company be sold?
