Pros
- Great employee discounts on Zara and possibly other Inditex brands. - Free stylish uniform and managers dress in Zara so can express themselves more - Opportunities for progression after a few months - Fun environment for work if in the right team or department - Fast-paced work helps shake things up, think more on your feet, use common sense and confidence building too (especially when dealing with rude customers) - Some managers are great team members and really put in the work on the sales floor just like sales assistants (others don't do much really) - Good diverse work place
Cons
- Management lack proper communication with staff at times - Stressful sales periods means overtime allocated automatically (making you feel you have no choice when you do) - Store put unnecessary pressure on sales assistants to meet targets but this responsibility is more for visual merchandisers (can only imagine how stressed they are) - If you don't speak up you will get pushed around from department to department and maybe some intimidation/bullying by rogue managers (strange as they were once sales assistants and should be more accommodating) - Harsh treatment as sometimes feels like management is shouting at everyone (maybe its a Spanish/Portuguese thing I dunno)
