Pros

I joined ZS after completing my MBA from a premier B-school. I joined the Business Operations practice. A few pros of working in ZS are 1) Good Projects 2) Good Exposure to Fortune 500 clients 3) Good Brand Value if you are going for an MBA after ZS

Cons

ZS is definitely not the place to join after completing your MBA. Specially Business Operations profile. The job description is misleading and after reading the JD you might mistake Business Operations as Supply Chain Operations. But let me assure that Business Operations and Supply Chain Operations are poles apart. Do not join as a Consultant right from campus specially in BO (Business Operations). Most of the work will be around project and people management and you will be seldom involved in any analysis which will be done by the Associates All the projects are based out of US. There is an onshore team which does all the client interaction and offshore team based out of Gurgaon and Pune will just do whatever is being told by onshore team. Offshore team has very little understanding as to why client asked for a change since majority of client interactions will be done by offshore Pathetic work-life balance. Although, you don't have to work over the weekend but on weekdays you might have to stay back in office till 10 pm

Pros

Strong culture and collaborative environment with smart, supportive colleagues. Admins are trusted partners and get exposure to senior leadership, which provides great learning opportunities. Compensation and benefits are competitive compared to similar roles.

Cons

Workload can be high, with admins often supporting multiple stakeholders while also providing backup coverage. Expectations can vary widely depending on the team, which can create inconsistency and pressure. Career growth paths are less structured and require a lot of self-direction. Work-life balance can be challenging at times, especially across time zones.
