Pros
THIS IS A START UP ENVIRONMENT. Still very young management maturity which can be a good thing if you don't like the discipline, strategy and process. Single engineering product, and company strengths and management values are based on engineering. Everyone knows or can meet anyone, and it's a beautiful building.
Cons
Where do I begin!!? First of all, management is aware of the poor reviews they've been receiving lately and has an internal initiative to improve their image since they had so many problems hiring people to move to Pittsburgh. That said, be careful of recent reviews!! Look at the trends in review and you'll all of a sudden see their ratings improve from an average of 2 starting this spring. What kind of management does that? Second, the company is run by a project manager who has referred to non-engineering roles as necessary evils. He has the wrong people in the wrong roles and his staff constantly under mines him. Third, the LifeVest, the flagship, is referred to as the "Lie Vest" by the physicians and community because of bad marketing and sales policies, the amount of burn churn, and overselling. That pretty much sums up things here.
