      Pros

      Very stimulating environment. A good place to pick up hard skills and network (excellent alumni database). Good healthcare facilities excellent.

      Cons

      Not the best social environment, I guess typical of the ivy league environment. New Haven is a crime ridden city.

      In academia, where salaries are generally lower than in the corporate sector, there can be a disproportionate amount of arrogance because many people are motivated by prestige and status rather than financial compensation.
