Pros
The database team within Xtivia offers dynamic work with a variety of problems to solve and you can expect to work on a variety of tasks that generally are not boring. In addition the work schedule is flexible and the PTO offerings are fantastic. The team is full of bright and helpful peers with years of experience, I was able to learn and grow within this company and there were clear paths and opportunities for promotion/financial gain. Of all the places I have worked Xtivia has great diversity and culture, the environment is very different from other tech companies I have worked with due to the number of diverse team members with unique backgrounds.
Cons
Some on-call scheduling is necessary. The work involves the normal issues that come from client-facing support: last minute emergencies, communication issues, etc.
