Pros

Co workers (when there isn’t drama), 401k, stocks, guaranteed 8 hour shift. Ppto & pto (don’t abuse, or you’ll be sol), Thanksgiving off

Cons

Management, point system, don’t like to see others succeed, lack of proper training, black mold, nasty food for associates, harassment, disrespect, lack of integrity, no credit given where it is due, associates not rewarded, not a safe place to work, doesn’t stock first in first out, you’re just a number & you’re replaceable, high turnover rate + can’t keep a solid team, don’t watch expired dates, break cold chain while stocking cold food, rotisserie chickens burnt, don’t change oil in deli like supposed to, poor health and dental. List goes on

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
