It pays the rent, but doesn't bring home the bacon. - Photo Lab Associate Walmart Employee Review

Pros

In this town, they are the company who hires the most people. They are good at supplying jobs when no one else does and its pays rent.

Cons

They pay you little then turn around and give you hardly any benefits. We only get a 10% discount and no discount on advertised items, while other stores around get 15%-50% off. Management are disrespectful of lower associates. They have no consideration for your personal life or emergencies.

Pros

Fantastic company to work for. Such a blessing to be given the opportunity to serve communities and make so many connections.

Cons

Can be stressful at times, but very manageable.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
