Pros

Competitive Pay for the area.

Cons

Unsafe building that is under construction. 80+% turnover within a year. Several GMs and Assistant GMs come and go with hourly associates cleaning up the mess they leave behind. HR and Leadership throw the book at associates with tenure to force them out the door. The DC is implementing Automation, hiring part-time associates, and temps to replace full-time associates. HR and Leadership are only out for themselves and their favorite associates. Clear line in sand for Hourly associates and salaried associates. Ethics dismisses all concerns and Walmart policy discourages traditional Open Door Policy. Retaliation is common. Intimidation is common. Injuries and accidents are common.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
