Pros
Although the employee benefits are less and less generous each year, the benefit package is still good in comparison to other companies. The Visa brand is globally recognized, so it feels good to be part of it. Change is constant in the environment and may impact your job content where you learn a new role, new skills, thereby enhancing your value and marketabililty. Good fit for aggressive personalities and those who are excited by constant change (re-orgs, priorities).
Cons
Culture can be toxic due to persistent layoffs/re-orgs and staffers protecting their turf for job security or for upward mobility. The culture is definitely "who you know" which helps smooth pathways to getting decisions go your way. Processes are devised and not followed (even by the people who devised them . . . there's always an exception they claim). Badly behaved people (bullies) continue to enjoy longevity. They are seen as ones who get things done. It seems that teamwork and a sense of cooperation is exception rather than a rule. Difficult to trust others.
