      Pros

      They make you feel good and important, because you're at least as good as they are. You don't have to actually make a good product, you just need to make your superiors feel good about themselves. Amazing work life balance. If you're near competent, you pretty much just have to show up. 99% life baby -- that's the balance I'm talking about. You can learn exactly how far in life you can get with appearances. If you want to get paid to learn a new technology, sell it to them whether they need it or not, and you can get paid to learn! The tech hop is real, and the solution to ALL of our problems. If you're high up enough, you get to skip the on-call rotation, regardless of how bad your code is!! Throw that responsibility on to the underpaid QA team! Dream of spending inordinate amounts of money improperly using external services? YOU'LL GET FUNDED AND APPLAUDED HERE!!! Need job security? Just keep telling victorious how good they are, and how much potential they have -- infinite money?

      Cons

      "Transparency" "Agile" "Progress" Your boss will be dumber than you. -- This has potential to be a "pro" In order to improve the product, you have to imagine yourself at 14, which is horrifying for me at least. Most of the intelligent people have left Culture of a dying people Their app (or rather, bugs within the app) charges you money which they wont reimburse

      Pros

      - Amazing team, great atmosphere. - Sam (CEO) truly cares about the company and his employees' well-being; whether it is by providing lunch to staff every MWF, paying for monthly gym memberships, approving frequent team events (i.e. game/movie nights, etc.), Sam has always ensured that team morale remains high, which is a rare quality in upper management nowadays. - Sam's vision of the company is fresh, and young; he has an amazing eye, and is a creative genius. Coming from big 4, I got used to monotony, and going through the same motions everyday. Sam promotes originality, and inspires creativity. He is respectful, extremely intelligent, and drives this company forward ever day. He is respectful and receptive to ideas, regardless of staff level. - Amazing location to work in, two blocks from the beach. - Work life balance exists here!

      Cons

      - Coming from the Corporate world, I have honestly have no complaints. The environment is positive, creative, and leadership genuinely cares about team morale. Eager for launch of product.

      Pros

      Good pay Nice, smart people Really supportive environment Near the beach Paid lunches 3 days a week Tenacious CEO (does NOT give up) Small company size affords a lot of agility and opportunity Awesome product team Awesome engineering team Strong management team

      Cons

      Did a recent round of layoffs that was gut-wrenching. Company seems to have a hard time with learning from past mistakes. It’s often difficult to surface potentially good product ideas.
