Pros

We collect a salary CV is now on market I can’t think of any other pros, as the cons just outweigh them

Cons

Technology is totally stone-age. Technically team are not allowed to make suggestions for improvement and they remain ignored. Document management system is non-existent. CFO & other team members (quite a few) resign and teams are finding out from people in another locations who no longer work for the firm. Communication is key. CFO leaving is big sign that company isn’t going in a good direction. Zero communication continues to be its failing for the last 3+yrs. Human Resources treats people like rubbish and the management team are supportive of the attitude. Management team are all in their own circle of denial, their way or the highway. Every problem becomes that someone else. Reduced benefits and failure to pay pensions then openly blame someone who had already left the company - very unprofessional Anyone can spend a ton of cash on to make it look good on the outside. Emails about small deals closing but bonuses are reduced dramatically or worse. This is only the tip of the sharp iceberg there are many more hideous goings on which I’m surprised haven’t made this platform.

Pros

-A pretty generous vacation policy -The hours are pretty flexible -Some cool technologies like Ember, Django and Scala.

Cons

-The CEO lies a TON. Small stuff. Big stuff. Anything to make her and the executive team look better. -My portion of the company was acquired about a year ago and the CEO promised that we'd maintain benefits like free lunch. A month later lunch was gone. -After months of awaiting long over due raises and bonuses, the CEO promised that raises would be back paid. Her solution? Don't give raises and it's not technically a lie. -They gave NY half day Fridays (the office that conveniently all C level employees worked out of) through the summer and all other offices $10 for lunch. -Tons of devs quit and they were never replaced. Others just had to pull more weight. -The CEO and her assistant wasted tons of money traveling the world while complaining about money when raises didn't happen. -After giving my resignation, no one from the company (outside of HR) even reached out to me to transfer 7+ years of knowledge.
