Pros
The office environment - good balance of both a professional and laid back workplace, on-site lunch catering, quarterly happy hours and award ceremonies, ability to manage your own business, leader in the space, willing to invest in software to help the sales team be as efficient as possible (CRM & Prospecting Tools), benefits since VMware acquisition (401K Match/vested immediately along with an Employee Stock Purchase Plan), Unlimited PTO policy (if your performing of course) makes for a better work/life balance than other sales jobs out there.
Cons
Not a very strategic sales organization - hoping to see VMware have an influence on this. Training needs some work but seems to be getting better. Communication as changes occur can come quicker and be more clear.
