Pros

None. If you count the free soaps, deodorants, ice cream, Knorr side dishes packs, and shampoos as Salary, then this is the place for you.

Cons

Dysfunctional, Has Lofty Fake Goals, Low Pay, Low Salaries and Job Titles Not aligned with Competitors, This is a good place for young, newly out of college or grad school employees to learn about office politics and backstabbing. Unilever feeds its employees the sanctimonious, delusional beliefs that "We're a family." Most employees actually bought this BS and clarion it to each other. You can Not fire or layoff your relatives! We're Not a family. We're co-workers, and co-workers Will throw each other under the bus to protect their jobs, promotions and even jobs they might want in the future. Unilever has such high employee turnover, Low Salaries and joke 1% bonuses, most employees stay for only one year. Unilever's idea of "customer analytics" and data science is hiring employees from Nielsen and simply replicating in-house what they're already paying millions of shareholder dollars for Nielsen to do. Unilever has an annual contract with Nielsen's CPG Dept.. Unilever should save its shareholders' money and simply stand in front of the Nielsen offices in Connecticut and Illinois with large Billboard signs stating, "We're hiring Nielsen employees!" The Dutch-British Executive Management are clueless about the USA markets. They think that what sells in Europe will be successful in the USA. It's a destitute company. Do Not count on getting competent technology help or support. Unilever's "technology" is antiquated and you'll feel like you stepped into a time machine with "technology" from the years 2000 to 2005.

Pros

Working at Unilever in Raeford offers strong overall benefits, including good pay for the area, solid health insurance, retirement options, and additional perks like tuition assistance and employee discounts. The company provides a stable work environment as a large global organization, with opportunities for career growth and skill development in a modern, well-maintained facility. Employees often highlight the team-oriented culture, supportive coworkers, and clean, safety-focused workplace. Overall, it’s considered a reliable employer with good work-life balance and long-term career potential.

Cons

Working there can involve long hours and rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, which can make work-life balance harder depending on your role. The job can also be physically demanding, especially in production or warehouse positions, requiring standing for long periods and repetitive tasks. Because it’s a large corporation, there can be strict policies, less flexibility, and slower decision-making. Additionally, while growth opportunities exist, advancement can sometimes feel competitive or slow without the right connections or timing.
