Smart & Interesting Colleagues, Good benefits (before they stripped them), Good Autonomy (before all the middle management started). I learned a lot here and I am grateful for that.
Cons
The company got bought out by investors in 2020/2021, and it went from one of the best jobs I've ever had to another run of the mill CS slugfest. HR Nightmare, Relentless Middle Management, Corporate Double Talk, etc... Ended up getting the boot in a round of layoffs about 3 months before what was supposed to be my paid Sabbatical month (meant to be a thank you for 5 years of working there), a benefit which was soon after dissolved entirely... Overall, the company had it's heyday and is now a sinking ship... If you're searching for a job and have another option, do yourself a favour... Bounce!
