Compensation is great, especially with the company recently announcing profitability
Cons
As a software engineer, the trend seems to be that hiring is only growing overseas - so in Europe and India. Not a lot of internal mobility in the US. Depending on the team, but oncall at Uber is super stressful since there are not many great models to follow to have oncalls be more sustainable for engineers. Managers seem to lack vision and micro-manage as well.
