Pros
-Competitive Pay -Initiatives to help Military employees -Good 401k
Cons
-Refusal of USAA to create Roles & Responsibilities in order to stop duplication of work & rework. USAA's refusal to create Roles & Responsibilities can lead to an inefficient work process and a lack of clarity in regards to expectations being met. This can lead to confusion amongst teams as well as duplication of tasks, which result in time and money wasted due to rework. It is important for USAA to review their current processes -Agile Methodology not followed. Product Owners do both Product Owner role AND the Product Manager role. (just not Product Manager pay) -Toxic Micromanagers. This creates a hostile work environment. Due to the managers not having enough work of their own to do. In addition, coworkers throw each other under the bus due to this environment -Layoffs causing moral issues. Most Layoffs are of valuable members. For example laying off a developer instead of middle manager. When the developers make ~$95k verse the manager making ~$150k -USAA initially hired people for remote roles. However, converted all remote roles into hybrid/in person. Forcing everyone to return to office. Despite many people having team members located in a different USAA location/cities
