Pros
Good pay, some interesting people.
Cons
I started when the company was transitioning from pubically owned to private, and also shortly after the strike in 97. UPS is now a shell of its former self and basically a different company 20 years later. You no longer have tenured management who care about the operations and its people. Not everyone can physically handle the workload, if you are an hourly employee. -Toxic- culture. Good management leave for better opportunities, while the leftover lifers who are stuck can be sadistic and bully employees. You will see plenty of illegal hiring and workplace infractions if you work here long enough. Ride the class-action train when applicable, if that's your thing. UPS will leave plenty of opportunity for that.
