Pros

Company culture. Office environment and co workers. Take good care of employees and give those with potential a chance. Fast promotions (within door knocking division). Great starting pay with opportunity to make more after reaching 60 career demonstrations.

Cons

Weather. Time consuming (unless you’re really good). Must be mentally strong. Appreciate but don’t acknowledge the 95% (non-top performers). Sales pitch is psychologically written to get a sales pro in the door but the panels are not “No Cost.” It is no cost installation. Though, some homeowners do benefit from savings, no one actually qualifies for absolute no cost panels. It’s a numbers game and sales pro capitalize on home owner’s impulsivity through closely scheduled appointments. You might have a guilty conscience from time to time.

Pros

Great people, caring upper management, fun meetings, good coworkers, great work environment, uncapped commission potential, base salary, full health, dental, vision, variety of optional insurances, 401k with large company match, actually helping people save money, helping the planet.

Cons

Inter-department communication, slow company-wide decision making, bad apples have forced upper management to make decisions that feel like tight leash on entry level reps.

Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
