Pros

One of the biggest pros of TransLinguist is getting to work with young, motivated people. The experience is a positive addition to your CV, especially in terms of marketing since you get to learn the B2B industry. It's fast-paced and challenging, and you'll have a tough time on most days, but it's a worthwhile experience.

Cons

The management is not always accommodating and flexible. It can get frustrating at times. The culture could be better, but they're working on it so that's appreciated. Micromanagement, compensation, and flexibility for employees' wellbeing are definitely some of the things that need improvement.

Pros

The best part is that I’ve met some great people and made good friends here. Salaries are always paid on time. The working culture is positive, and the entire team is very supportive.

Cons

The main issue is that management lacks clarity about which team is responsible for specific tasks. Everyone ends up doing everything in the name of a “startup,” even though the company has been operating for more than five years. Employees are often required to handle multiple tasks outside their defined job descriptions. There is little to no appreciation from management for good performance. However, even a single mistake is quickly noticed, which can lead to serious consequences, including termination. Job security is a major concern. Even after completing the probation period, employees can be terminated under so-called disciplinary actions. Management does not communicate company growth or revenue updates. Instead, there is constant pressure regarding leads and performance. There is a lack of transparency, and most data and information are controlled solely by the manager, with no clear visibility for employees. I have more to share, but this summarizes the key concerns. Suggestion: If you are planning to join, make sure to clarify all terms with HR beforehand. Ensure that the probation or internship period is strictly limited to three months and cannot be extended without valid reason. Also, discuss your salary and responsibilities clearly, and get everything documented in writing before joining.

Pros

My time at TL was truly special - it became like a second home to me. I worked in BD and reported directly to the employer, whose guidance and trust in me meant everything. They pushed me to grow professionally while making me feel like I belonged. The colleagues were all young, and professionals that I got along with great. Even though I've moved on, I look back so fondly on those work friendships and the team dynamic. If you're just starting your career, I'd totally recommend working here. It's fast paced but also nurturing if you are eager to learn and take on new challenges. The employer really invests in developing their people. While I have left for a new opportunity, I have so much gratitude for how TL shaped my early career. An amazing place to get your start for sure!

Cons

Starting out can be overwhelming because of the fast paced environment. From day one, I was involved in "important tasks" , which was a bit intimidating. I believe the first week could be a bit more relaxed for new hires.
