      Pros

      Great teams of people and an amazing connection between coworkers. Everyone works together to get the job done—and done well. You can sense the passion peers have for their work and their career, and those peers (not upper management) care about the growth of others.

      Cons

      New management has completely hindered and prevented growth of the company's own employees. Does not see the potential in TrackR's team that has been keeping the train going all these years, and instead chose to send the work to agencies (some especially incompetent). If you need a paycheck, go for it, but if you want a career I would keep looking. It's simply a high-stress environment with no satisfaction from having accomplished something. Merely disappointing.

      Pros

      Great time to work at TrackR. It's a very different company than it was a year ago. The company is at an inflection point and poised for rapid growth. As my former boss at another company told me recently, at this moment TrackR is the hot company in Santa Barbara. The management team is solid. The marketing team is solid. The company is quickly growing and is adopting professional standards. Tons of opportunity for growth within the company.

      Cons

      Dealing with legacy home-grown systems and processes that are slow to go away. A lot of talk of being data-driven. A lot of ignoring information which challenges preconceived notions. Then again, that's pretty normal for many companies, just very pronounced in a fast growing company. Long hours - but then again, it's a start-up.
