Pros

Plenty of talented employees, hard workers, good benefits. With great luck, make a livable London wage.

Cons

Keep in mind the emphasis is employee experience, yeah? After-tax, entry-level weekly pay is around 400-440 GBP. If each week, you are working Mon-Friday 9-5, each of those work hours is worth 10-11 GBP. When you're hired, they make a big deal about the pay being below market average because the rate of commission can be very generous (entirely based on which industry you serve & what your predecessors did with the event). Then after your first conference, it hits you, for the extent & number of responsibilities you have, working only 40 hours a week would be catastrophic to your performance as a Reuters Events Conference Producer. So, you work more hours. Now your 'worth' is 8 - 8.8 GBP per hour before any event commission. Burning out is a common occurrence.
