Pros
I've seen a lot of encouraging progress since I arrived at Tech Review in 2016. A new CEO, new editor in chief, new executive editor, new creative director, new marketing director, a print redesign (by Pentagram)... and a new website launches this fall. All of this change has ushered in a lot of serious, ambitious thinking, and represents an overdue commitment to raising the performance of our business to match the high quality of our journalism. It's an exciting time to be here. Leadership and the staff are mission driven and collaborative (even if we don't always get it right). I've never worked with a smarter group of people on a better product.
Cons
Not all journalists are enthusiastic about learning to work in a digital-first newsroom, but we're getting there.
