Some good, some bad, mostly bad. - Tier-2 Technical Support Engineer TeKnowledge Employee Review

Pros

-Remote (eventually was changed to hybrid) work -Most Team Leads are good people and want to assist and help you, even if they have trouble due to hurdles set by upper management

Cons

-Internal support hierarchy is EXTREMELY flawed -Training does not fully prepare you for live cases -Upper management like to have "town halls" where they ask for feedback, but then get defensive, talk in circles or even flat out ignore employee requests. While I worked at Tek-Experts, many employees were told that due to their case ratings being under a certain amount, their hours would be cut in half. Suspiciously this coincided with the opening of the Indianapolis location, as well as, *rumors*, that the company was having financial issues

Pros

The paychecks don't bounce, at least as far as I experienced. You'll never ever have time to be bored, if you could call it that.

Cons

Completely toxic work environment, through and through. Ignores requests for Disability accomodations, uses the information gleaned from that process to institute write-ups. PIPs are their favorite tool ever, beside death from overwork.
