Pros

Great pay... and that is about it!

Cons

Completely unprofessional company that runs more like a family business that an international company. Everything about working at this company was totally regrettable. I wish I had never accepted their offer. If you value your career path, DO NOT ACCEPT AN OFFER FROM THIS COMPANY.

THE THIRD FLOOR Visualization Response

Wow! We’re always looking for feedback from our past and current employees but this review is shocking. We’re a bit concerned that this review alleges to be from a current employee in Vancouver. We’re not sure how this is possible when we aren’t currently working in Vancouver (even though we LOVE it). Additionally, this review is quite an anomaly and antithetical to what a majority of our other current employees have shared in their Glassdoor reviews. That said, we know that bots exist, as well as disgruntled competitors who attempt to create false reviews, so in an effort to verify the validity of this review and prove that you’re not a bot or a competitor, we encourage you to email glassdoor@thethirdfloorinc.com. That email account is automatically redirected to senior HR staff (who aren’t bots) and will allow us to verify the legitimacy of this review with a good old-fashioned chat amongst humans. We look forward to hearing from you!

Pros

Extremely artist friendly and nice work environment.

Cons

A personal con is that it feels a little difficult to get better at animating or compositing since the bar for previs and postvis is not as high as finals.
