Constant turnover in head office staff means a lot of things never get completed and things often end up incorrect. There is no proper on boarding process when joining through HR who have had a constant staff turnover over the last two years. Similarly there is no appraisal or annual review procedure in place for the majority of staff members meaning their is no way to learn and grow professionally. There is no culture and no reward system for current employees. You constantly feel like you’re fighting a losing battle trying to get anything done as you are constantly shot down. No inflationary pay rises are given, there was an annual bonus scheme for employees and management but the employee bonus scheme has been removed. A number of staff members don’t understand how to communicate in a professional manner and so they think it’s acceptable to make certain comments / shout at you when they’re unhappy. Head office is current squeezing the budget more and more. This company could be such a great company to work for. It has just been ruined by the current management team.

Thank you so much for giving feedback about your experience with our company. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience was a negative one.
Here at TFP Fertility UK we strongly believe in employee satisfaction and strive to have an engaged and well rewarded workforce. We have also been working hard to introduce new initiatives with employee satisfaction in mind.
We have introduced Induction Days for all new starters on which they get to meet the Senior Leadership Team and other colleagues from across the business. During this day new starters hear from our UK Managing Director, HR, operations, marketing and finance and gain insight into organisational goals. They get to ask any questions they have and learn from other new starters about their roles.
We have an appraisal process in place that gives colleagues the opportunity to set their own objectives and work together to review these on a regular basis.
We have introduced colleague roadshows, once a quarter our UK Managing Director visits each clinic to share company updates and insight and marketing and operations also join this session to share updates and take questions.
We have implemented LGBT training for colleagues and plan continue rolling this out over the coming year.
We have introduced a colleague newsletter and print and email format to share updates from across the company.
The Senior Leadership Team has been restructured and are regularly out and about in clinics to hear from colleagues and update on projects they’re involved in.
The Senior Leadership Team also take active mentoring and coaching roles across the business to help and support those that want to develop their careers.
Employees are recognised for their hard work and pay rises have been awarded for the past 3 years including this year. Catching people doing things right is a big part of our culture with small tokens of recognition sent to employees on a regular basis.
If you would like to discuss any of this in more detail or would like to provide more feedback please reach out hr.uk@tfp-fertility.com
Very difficult to think of any, especially as all the nicest colleagues have recently left. The consultants are decent.
Cons
Watching decent members of staff essentially be bullied at work has been difficult. To witness members of staff leave or become ill due to the behaviour of management has been upsetting and unsettling (and it has been plain to see that management have been at fault every time). All the company cares about is money and not the patients. It is being run as a call centre and staff are even timed for breaks and when they go to the bathroom. Whereas management have smoke breaks every half an hour and leave the office for the day at lunchtime. There are zero benefits for staff and the turnover is high for a reason. HR are completely unapproachable.
