Pros

I left when I did

Cons

Sr Management Team does not care for their team. If you do not agree with their"vision" you will get moved to another team/center or they will harass you until and set unrealistic expectations so they can write you up or make you quit. Their vision is to make $ at the expense of their employees) upper management will throw teammates under the bus to look better and take credit for things they did not do. They use a fear based approach and HR protects upper management when they should have integrity for the company and all the employees. It's just plain pathetic.

Surgical Notes Response

We appreciate the time you have taken to leave feedback on your experience with Surgical Notes. We are sad that your experience has not met your expectations. As you have noted, our management team does occasionally need to move team member’s to other teams or centers dependent on the needs of the organization. Additionally, many have productivity standards that align with industry expectations but our team takes a collaborative approach of assisting team member’s in meeting those goals. We invite you to please reach out to Human Resources regarding concerns of a “fear based approach” and "Executives that do not follow ethical practices" so an investigation can be under taken as this is not something we tolerate at Surgical Notes. We can be reached at hr@surgicalnotes.com to further discuss these concerns.

Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

The micro management is awful even at the director level. The turnover is high. Pay is low. The staff is unhappy. The clients are unhappy. The systems are outdated. The employees are so overwhelmed and overworked and no one receives training.
