Pros

Free coffee, some lovely staff, great showroom manager.

Cons

0 hour contracts so they cut your hours if the showroom is not making enough money. On average had a footfall of 6 people a day but marketing did little to help this. Received promises when I first started of a bonus, salary increase and a 40 hour contract. NONE of these happened. People leaving all of the time because no one wants to be there. Upper management is appalling and are quick to criticise but offer 0 praise and don't celebrate staffs successes. Salary is pitiful considering the amount knowledge that is involved. Received a lot of customer complaints and returns over my time there which is embarrassing when someone is spending up to £6000 on a sofa.

Pros

great product, fast paced and dynamic, great friendly atmosphere, amazing opportunities to get exposure and take on real responsibilities

Cons

it's still a relatively small company and therefore sometimes you have to get your hands dirty doing some basic stuff too. it's great though- it's the real deal!

Pros

The concept itself is ingenious Product is actually quite nice and high quality Staff members are fun and personable Location is great Plenty of freebies

Cons

Management or lack thereof No formal training; very "sink or swim" Compensation is based upon how much management likes you, not the work you do.
