Pros

Working at Sloan, one can expect ongoing professional development with opportunities for growth, unwavering professional and personal support, exceptional training, unparalleled benefits for you and your family, and a strong sense of personal satisfaction from working for an environmentally innovative industry leader. Sloan deeply values every employee’s contribution and genuinely cares about their workers - at Sloan, they treat you like family.

Cons

Other than expecting the same level of excellence and dedicated professionalism from their employees that they provide as employers (which *can* translate into long hours), I can honestly say there were no cons to working at Sloan. Were it not for having to leave the company due to personal reasons, I would like to think I would still be working there for years to come.

Pros

Innovative thought culture, respects their employees, great benefits package, and competitive salary.

Cons

Leadership may be slow to make decisions at times, but it is usually to ensure the most success for the employees and the company.

Pros

They have competitive pay, and they don't micromanage

Cons

Management has all been hired in laterally at their roles so they don't have any understanding of the jobs their people are doing nor the tools they work with. Company lacks vision, doesn't have working tools to do your job, and they haven't launched successful products in a really long time. This company is just sitting on old products which they have patented and continue to make them money while not being actively forward looking. If you work here know that it will quickly become boring and unfulfilling, since you won't be learning much. Company paid an expensive consulting group to tell them what was wrong with the company and they told them it was management... They fired the consulting company because they couldn't take a hard look in the mirror...
