Pros
My supervisor was very easy to work with in regards to absences, needing to leave early/come in late, ect. She truly cared about you as a person outside of work.
Cons
The health benefits were terrible. At one point, to save the company money, they made us contribute even more money out of pocket for not so great benefits and they even took away several days of our PTO that we could accumulate. The pay was awful. How anyone who wasn’t an agent afford to work there and live in the Bay Area, I’ll have no idea. The yearly raises were an absolute joke. A big motivator for me leaving was that I simply couldn’t afford to work here anymore. My team took advantage of me being a hard worker. No action was taken against people who did not show up to work (I believe some of these employees are still with the company, too). I had absolutely no room to advance within the company. Certain people wanted me to stay exactly where I was and this made things extremely difficult in the event an opportunity did come up. When I applied for other jobs and they called to do an employment verification, they DID NOT keep it confidential. I didn’t get to tell my supervisor I was moving on, because they had already tattled on me and she knew about it when I told her. Thanks for the job when I needed it, SQ, but I’ve moved on to a company that I feel cares more about me and actually shows it.
