      Pros

      Selectquote has a huge advantage when it comes to quoting life insurance. Being an agent here One thing I can say with a lot of certainty, is that we don't get beat out on price. It is also nice to not have to be partial to one company.

      Cons

      To be successful as an agent, you have to excel on multiple levels. Being at 100% of expectations will provide a good income, but to make real $ one has to exceed 100% of production targets consistently.

      Easy & smooth onboarding + fantastic training.

      Cons

      The hiring process is not immediate or quick however the time from initial interview to training was not more than a month.

      Pros

      Annual bonus based on employee and company performance

      Cons

      Annual salary is way below national average, especially based on years of experience. They've talked about promoting all QA Analysts to QA Engineer for years (due to the fact we're all fulfilling QA Engineer roles but with the Analyst title and pay), but every year they had a new excuse as to why they couldn't promote everyone. The workload far outweighs the pay.
