Pros
It is not a software company. It is a medical scribing company which is trying to become a software company. so basic SLDC process is not known/followed. after sorting the review section with low rating, you may see a set of reviews which are mentioning the software dept & head of technology. I saw those before joining and took it as a grain of salt. I am still regretting it. Only Pro which helped me to stay for almost a year is the bunch of teammates & colleagues who were willing to learn new things, discuss with others & help them voluntarily in their free time 🖖🖖🖖

tldr; - No proper team structure - No proper plan for development & release hence No Work Life Balance - Hostile behavior is never even acknowledged as hostile. - Salary date is 5th/6th DOM. <<----- Rant ----->> Discussing the requirements, data patterns, code structure & concepts in a meeting would exactly feel like that you are in the "Lord of the Flies" island since the aforementioned head won't be available mostly (he will be always in WFH or WFO from a different location than the team). For Ex., I was explaining storing a data in Local Storage browser API & it was asked to be avoided by a set of team mates who have 5 YOE. the reason - "It will occupy RAM space." During my tenure, the release will be postponed to the end of next quarter on the day of release. my tenure ended 6 months back. still the project is not in production. the whole Dev & QA team is working from January 2024 on minimum of 2 weekends per month. You will be working over the weekends without proper compensation. even if the compensation is given & you utilize it, it won't be approved by the head thus resulting in LOP. all because we have an unrealistic release plan for the product. Every question/doubt asked, acknowledgement or noting down things from a meeting in Jira/Teams will be met with heavy hostility. once we noted down somewhere, Tomato becomes Tomâto. the reason given would be - "I said this, he/she must have misheard it.". this hostile behavior is encouraged to a level where QA is getting scolded for raising a bug ticket even with screenshots & screen recordings.
