Pros

Team (hourly members) Employee Discount

Cons

Leadership Pay Schedule (they don’t tell you it’s a salaried position minimum 45 hours, they will enforce you to work beyond that and if you don’t they will threaten separation, read their contracts) No growth for internals or externals (the company went public and is checking off boxes, all promotions are done through a bias or relation) Lack of diversity (hourly TMs thankfully are a great bunch, I had many HR complaints about racist leadership, homophobic comments, political views, the diversity is a facade, if you’re a minority or anything besides white male, good luck being promoted etc) No teamwork Iron fist environment No resources Members of HR consistently quitting Company can’t retain a bench of talent Bias pay scale (store managers would be paid intensely different, along with department managers. Unspoken expectations They’ll hire anybody, my boss had a DUI and was arrested after being with a minor also, the company kept this individual on the team for 10+ years. Classic “good ole boys” environment Company is struggling to find investors, stay away

Pros

It's a Job I guess

Cons

The pay is just over minimum wage. There is no work life balance they don't offer holiday pay and require you to work on all holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. They constantly add new thing to the job and will never give you a pay raise or advancement. All around bad company that's taking advantage of working class Americans.
