Pros
One of the unique product development organizations in Smart Grid Transmission domain in Canada. Leading the IEC 61850 implementation. Have their system deployed at major transmission substations throughout USA. An extremely strong team of engineers. If you want a geeky environment then this is the place to work in Calgary. You will get a strong sense of accomplishment and feel you are really making a set of products that are key to fulfil human needs of reliable electric power. Loads and loads of free lunches at least while I was there and a great Human Resources team.

Demanding technical job so you have to be ready to give your 110% in terms of technical acumen and personal time too.
