Years of experience is the only thing that matters; there is no balance. And not just regarding promotions, the number of years of experience you have will be in direct relation to how you are treated. Not everyone is terrible, but enough people are terrible to make for an awful work environment. There were only a handful of friendly people and the rest treat you like a completely replaceable peasant. The amount of disorganization and mismanagement for a company this big is, quite frankly, alarming. A bunch of excel sheets, a shared drive (NOT a document management system), and a completely unhelpful "standard operating procedures" binder comprise the legal department of SSM.
