Working at Roots Management Group was one of the most toxic and mentally draining experiences of my career. The company talks a lot about growth and “people first” values, but the reality is completely opposite. Leadership is disorganized, unapproachable, and often plays favorites. Expectations are constantly changing with zero clarity or communication, and employees are blamed when things inevitably fall apart due to lack of direction.
There is no real training or support, yet you’re held to unrealistic standards and publicly criticized if you fall short. The workload is excessive, with constant pressure, no work-life balance, and no appreciation for the people actually doing the work. Instead of fostering teamwork, the culture encourages fear and burnout. Many talented employees leave quickly because the environment is emotionally draining and entirely unsustainable.
If you value your mental health, a positive work culture, or basic respect in the workplace; this is not the place for you. I would not recommend Roots Management Group to anyone looking for a healthy or stable career environment.
