Was 5 rounds total: 1 phone call with recruiter, 1 with the analyst and associate, 1 in person where I met 2 VPs, and a technical modeling assessment. Whole team seems really laid back, but start-up mentality. It is a recent merger, so they're very growth minded. Team has a very clearly defined goal and wants to achieve it.
The whole team wants to get to know you before they give you a technical assessment which I really liked.

Question 1
Why MHC? What do you know about us? Tell me about yourself?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Roots Management Group
Interview
Initial interview with recruiter, 2 interviews with head of team, 1 interview with an Associate on the team - 4 in total. I believe there was also a planned fifth round with the CFO. Everyone I met was friendly, and the conversations were engaging. And despite feeling well-qualified, eager to learn, and 4 interviews that went really well, I was not selected without much clarity on why.
For future applicants, I’d suggest having a direct referral or prior Capital Markets experience to be competitive. While it was a positive experience overall, the process was lengthy, and outcomes felt somewhat uncertain.
