Pros
- nice and casual working environment - Good work life balance - flexible working time - friendly environment - Process orientated ( it’s actually consider a good thing)
Cons
- TOP management doesn’t walk the talk. Talking is cheap, when it comes down to actual work. Everyone is just scrambling to meet month to month requirement. - Growth expectation remains high when manpower resources are being reduce by almost 30% to 40% over the years - progression need favouritism, if not you will not get a chance to progress even if you are subject expert and have been contributing to the business. - There’s only manager no leaders at all - Asia TOP management are not interested in the welfare of the people. Progression of TOP management is sometimes at the expense of locals losing their jobs - Top management often do not understand how certain business are run and just want to push numbers without considering the long term impact. Very short sighted ! - people who don’t know the business but can produce nice PowerPoint presentation and Excel sheets always gets the recognition and have progression. People who are subject expert in their field are always being treated as a threat to their immediate superior and given ZERO opportunity to grow. We have lost a lot of talent because of selfish TOP management.
