Pros
Technically challenging and very relaxed work environment. The pressure is from our own teams, so we expect everyone to give max effort. The CEO has a Ph.D. in Software Engineering, so we are led by a guy who understands the technical challenges we face every day.
Cons
Not everyone is a fit. I think we have like 150 employees and have terminated four over the last year (I plainly see their reviews on here!). It seems to me that someone who comes from a big company and thinks they can "cruise" or hide will not do well here. The group figures them out quickly and they seem to find themselves looking in from the outside. The Con is that this place is not for everyone. You have to want to be in an environment where you are challenged and can deliver. We get to group interview people before they are offered the job and we make sure we tell them about the corporate culture, but I guess they think we aren't serious, when we are.
