Pros

WFH Good colleagues Flexible work-life balance Decent salary I guess Benefits are okay

Cons

Training was not in depth at all, nor did it cover what you would actually be doing on a day to day basis. Training class only included learning about policy and basic calculations... Training should have been longer with complex mock claims. Once you're out of training, you get into mentorship. Mentors vary, there are really good ones and really bad ones. The bad ones typically make your days harder than it needs to be. You will get live COMPLEX claims and have absolutely no idea what you're doing because their processes are all over the place. Very inconsistent across the board, everyone does their own thing. Through training and mentorship, you will not have a clear understanding of what you're supposed to be doing and you will just need to figure it out, hopefully you have a good mentor or manager. Internal partners can sometimes be very short and rude and you're supposed to take it. You will get a heavy caseload 5-6 months in. Managers like blaming you for their mistakes and if you don't action their suggestions, even though you know it will be a waste of time, you will get in trouble. Pointless meetings about God knows what. You have to have these meetings with internal partners to get your metrics up, even though you don't specifically require them, otherwise you get a talking to. Senior management is practically useless.

Pros

Riverside around WTC is pretty nice

Cons

OMG the worst company I've ever been. There are a lot of small groups inside the department, and most of them are mean and rude.
