Pros
I have had a very good experience at Protivix, I started in a contract to hire role and then became a consultant. I have a great manager who pushes me to do better, but also listens and provides leadership, advice, and support whenever it is needed. I have been encouraged to take on more leadership role both with client and within the team.
The team I work with is a group of very smart and hard working folks. I have a deep respect for them and all the skill sets they bring. I know that if I have a problem I can trust the team to back me up, provide help and help me get the job done.
I also appreciate the number and consistency of team meetings to help us know what is going on in the company and what the goals are. The management team works hard to find fun ways to bring us together.
Cons
Protivix is a smaller company but has a number of locations around and outside of Texas, so getting everyone from all the locations together is tough. Being a smaller company, I see a lot of the management level having to wear a lot of different hats, though I have seen that in most small companies.
