Pros

The company is quick to realize its mistakes and pivot accordingly. If anyone deserves the negative reviews, then it is companies who simply don’t recognize their mistakes or companies that do recognize their mistakes and do nothing about them. Primitive Social is not one of those companies. They are willing to invest in their people so they can serve their clients at the highest level. This is also something hard to find in most companies.

Cons

The company has experienced a higher turnover this past year, but from my past experience this is a natural evolution from start up to a more mature company working with more mature clients. The company simply outgrows the employees who do not have the skills required to serve the clients or who don’t have the drive to step up to the next level. This really isn’t a “con” for the company as it results in a much stronger and productive team. It is a “con” for the company in terms of dealing with the anonymous reviews that only tell one side of the story from the former employees. There are two sides to every story, and company leadership invests 100% in its employees, taking time to help them personally and professionally. The other sides of the stories of each of the reviews would only prove that their departures were a good thing overall for the company and the people in it.

Amazing work culture. The team is relatively small and I think thats what makes it so good working there

Pros

Remote work and friendly culture

Cons

They move people around like a jigsaw puzzle but no one is really all that qualified to do anything. Unfortunately the culture is a Lubbock (smaller town) clique and a little bit of a joke. They think they're primed for the "big leagues" but can't see the forest for the trees. It's hard to take many people seriously here once you see past the "happy culture" facade - if you're serious about growing in your profession, you're better off finding somewhere else to work if you can.
